Hmmm..looks like im slowly getting ma blogging groove back! The week aint so bad. But that may not be said of the entire month so far. The other day as i negotiated my way across some steps in a certain bulding, one of my eye glasses took a slip and fell off- breaking almost beyond trace! She was 5 years and had served me well ever since 2003. I had to keep "unspectacled" all day and half of the following day. It wasnt fun coz apparently i was feelin the strain in my eyes. Thank God i got the broken glass replaced but alas..ma eyes reacted "angrily" to the new lense and this just added up to the problems. I guess those of u in the "spects fraternity" will agree these 'bu' things don't go for the cheap (especially if you are the kind that goes for some style!)
I had to splash the dimes for new spects! U could now call me "cash strapped" but in all things, God be praised. Ive always told myself everything that happens under the sun does happen for a purpose and this is more real for those who decide to align themselves with God' s.
Meanwhile im listening to some cool music from By The Tree and the song is 'Miraculous' playing out via audio stream on LuckySevenRadio.com. You can look it up.
The day in itself hasnt been bad. Something interesting here maybe before i say adieu. Recently i had this urgument with a colleague about what we base our lives on. You know, things that get life moving just like those system drivers that get yo computer system running. And much as we had alot in common, we split on the point of Luck. Does luck have a big say on how your day is going to be like? What is luck anyway? Who gives it? God? Well, you probably have your own answers already. If you asked me i would say NO to the point of luck. You see, luck has overtones of chance..randomness. Looks like anyone out there (even those who dont deserve the apparent so called" luck") stand a chance! I believe God rewards us in his own way according to his wisdom and unflawed judgement (Justice system). And i guess some people have been blessed by God and credited their "good fortune" to an abstract idea out there called Luck. Im afraid i dont subsribe to that school of thought. The laws of life God has put in place are still alive and active. Sometimes we consider ourselves unlucky because we seem to "miss out" quite alot and so often. At one point i thought it that way. But hey, lets remember in God's own right time, he makes all things [that concern you, your family, etc] beautiful. So stop sulking and branding yourself a poor little unlucky fella and tell yourself how blessed you are in all you have.
So how do you like that sermon???!!!!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha .....
