Hello there. Its holiday down here and everyone seems to be in a festive mood. As for me, i should say it ended quite early and well...from the very start looks like i was not exactly swept way by this whole xmas "craze". So today is 28th Dec. and the year is soon coming to a close. Can't wait!

Yesterday was "D-Day" ..or call it concert day..the much awaited event on many pple's calendar at this time of the year..this part of the world. To put it precisely, it was fun. We danced and sang away all afternoon. Everyone went away happy..atleast those i saw myself!

Today im planning to go back to villa. It looks like such a wierd idea coz there isnt much i will be doin there honestly. But i thought i needed to "retreat" just a little bit from work and all that goes with it. This is like a "breather"....not a bad idea i guess.

Will definately miss out on so many things ..and so many people down here. Im takin with me lots of precious memories. I hope this aint soundin like im goin away forever. Will be back mid january God willin.

Good to be back again !!! Hw u there? ofcos merry xmas. I hope it was such an eventful, meaningful and memorable day. Christ is the reason we live and the best gift me and you could ever receive (m sorry atheists...this is real TRUE). I really wonder why people often complain about how broke they are towards xmas. For me, it aint about hw much stash i got in ma wallet or that bank account. Its all about the all embracing love of God he poured down on us thru his son Jesus..think about it!!!!

Last week on saturday i journeyed home (yet again) to be with mom and the rest of ma family. Got to a neighbor's party later on in the evening after watching the English PL..Arsenal up against Spurs. Oh ma God what a cracker!!!!!! Even the least ardent football fun (like ma friend ailuJ..[not real name]!!) would have loved this. To cut it short , the gunners squeezed out a 2-1 win.

Home was fun...lots of pple around including those i had spent ages without seeing (thank God for xmas!). Went to a nearby local church yesterday. The message was clear: christ Jesus the ultimate gift i could ever receive. Strolled back home after the service and made sure the evening was as interesting as it could be. Watched movies with my cousins. We had quite a number lined up...100 Days, Syriana (Matt Damon, George Clooney), Baby's Day Out (certainly not for me!!) , The New World and a couple of BiNigeria flicks. I had earlier watche d The Da Vinci Code (Tom Hanks, Audrey Tatou)....goodness me what a bunch of lies!!!! Will tell you more about this movie that is based on a novel (of the same title) by Dan Brown.

Quite an evening, er????

Got to Mbarara today to prepare for tommorow's concert (Ruharo Youth fellowship..RF). I have just come from our final practice. It was hectic but ok. Tommorow is concert day and i hope the lads are all set. Join us in prayer. Our desire is no matter how old, somebody in the congregation will go with a message of a lifetime to push them thru next year and beyond.

So tired now. Time to move it move it!!!

Didnt post anything yestarday. It was quite hectic day for me and much as iddint find the time, i really ddint have the energy to, anyway!
ope you good. I spent a large chunk of thursday preparin for the youth concert at church. Actuall almost all day. Was there by 9Am and was done effectively past 6 Pm. now thats really radical but im sure it was worth it. The dance moves are begin to get in shape n everyone is in the "mood". We are tryna go thru evry item...dance, drama...n music. Its fun though it high energy stuff...ye knw!

Had alittle bit of practice this morning. Will be gettin back later on. In a few minutes actually we late. And i aint the only culprit....Some ladies are as well...i dare not mention names..ye knw selves dont u??????????????????????????

Its 8.16 Pm down here and rather late for me to be in office. OOOOps..i think i had a pin drop! Im the only one in here and though this place aint scarry...its quite odd given almost everyone at work has gone for the xmas holiday. Meanin its so quite...almost dead quite.

Today really wasnt the typical wednesday we have all always come to know. It looked more of a weekend right from the start. I had no problem waking up late. Maybe because i had stayed up till late the previous night. I was still awake by 2 Am....typical me..huh??

Electric Current was no where near for most of this day meaning most of the work i had on paper cdnt be done. For me its the computer that makes stuff shift and that didnt happen till later on this evening.

And talking about this evening...well im just from a long but fascinating walk with friend of mine. It was fun.

Thought i would bring you my more 2007 "stats" today but i guess i will do that tommorow.

Otherwise not a bad day.....just another opportunity to celebrate the gift of life. And you know what..that makes God really smile...he aint as moody and tough as many make him up to be.

Yesterday went by rather quickly. Maybe its due to the lots of work that needed to be done. For me, it was business as usual and i dont really hate work especially when i love what im doing. well, i worked out a friend's proposal and will soon hand it over. Probably tommorow. I also attended a practice session for an upcoming youth fellowship concert at church here in Ruharo Mbarara. It was fine. I also met a couple of friends many of whom i had spent "ages" without seeing.A reunion..kinda!

Last night as i tried to "think ma self through"..something i do quite often(as part of my "customary" but personal M&E), i got this crazy idea..(crazy coz it aint everyday that i do such)..yes this crazy idea to do some simple funny maths about the way ive spent my time this year. I will bring you the full details of all this. As for today, i will concetrate on useage statistics for my cell phone and the Internet in the past 365 days (read 2007). The revelations were really comic..check this out if u have the knack to. By the way the margin of error aint significant meaning this stuff is quite accurate. Afterall, im not such a pathetic mathematician as you thought..blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

Ok. Now back to business.

Internet Use

I spent 13359 minutes on the Internet.Literally translated, i spent a total of 223 hrs that is 9 complete days of UNINTERRUPTED surfing on the world Wide Web (its begginin to get wierd, huh??)

In brief...

1. 37 minutes spent on the internet everyday
2. 18% of of my total Internet surfing duration this year alone was between January and June
3. A bulky 82% was spent between June to December (OOoh my God!!!)
4. 0.007% of the total time i had this year...ma entire life span in '007 (525600 minutes) was spent clickin away on the web!!

Cell Phone Use

I spent 1966 minutes talking on my cell phone this year alone. To put it graphically, for 33 hrs (1 day 9 hrs) i spoke on phone NON STOP!

In a nutshell....

1. Everyday (for 365 days), a total of 5 minutes were spent talkin on phone.
2. The ratio of dialled to received calls duration falls at 1:4 (That is in every 5 minutes spent on phone everyday, 4 were for received calls and 1 was for dialled calls)
3. Of the total time i spent talking on phone this year(1966 minutes), 74% of this was in form of received calls and a paltry 26% goes for dialled calls (as u can see..im a really bad caller!)

Not "too" bad....i suppose....

By the way there is a new (is it new anyway?) version of yahoo messenger that is web based . You dont have to download it...u only sign in an then begin to experience the power of IM with friends and foes alike. You can check it out on http:\\uk.webmessenger.yahoo.com. Remember you need a yahoo ID to sign in and thats all! I guess yahoo should pay me for this ad....honestly.

The weekend is over. And as always mondays often present us with lots of work to do.And that aint bad in any way..its cool to be busy. The last 4, 5 days have been a little longer than usual. Maybe because i was in villa and there wasnt really much for a guy to do. Yesterday though was a little different i shd quickly point out. Maybe because this time around i had a modest "progie" that an average corporate fella would laugh at!I didnt go to church in the mornin so i planned to attend a belivers meeting at a nearby local church later on in the day. I think carrying a book with me to villa was a great idea. This time it was The passion of Christ: 50 Reasons Why Jesus Died by John Piper. I buried my self in this little book for a rather long time and it was worth it. Now im on the 32nd reason. By the way this book is must read. I will give u its preview one of these days..possibly today if i get the time. Hopefully i wont be dragged to court by the publishers for copyright infringement!!!!

Fellowship was fun. Being around young people is such a fascinating thing. We shared about being the light of the world. The only wierd bit of it was this 'Tell your neighbour syndrome' which is catching up with many of us especially preachers. And yesterday's was no exception! I recommend we drop that line in church cz it aint "cool" and sounds irritating when used monotonously.

Being an ardent football fan (incase u didnt know!), it was such a fantastic sunday considering ma team hammered some "other team" in what some football pundits called 'Grand slam' Sunday in the English premier league. If u wanna know who i was rooting for...look no further than the top spot on the Table..there u go!!!!!

This morning i had to go Mbarara (where im writing this). I have some unfinished work to do. Thankfully, ma desk aint as piled up as the other day. Its just a little research here and there....word processing some proposals......practice for an upcoming youth concert...shop for xmas.....and thats almost all.

Its time i got started.

Been in villa for two days now. Its quite chilly down here but i can handle it. its cool to be home again..ma folks are all around n well....xmas too is around the corner..cant wait!!

MY cousin Jose gives me the company i really need. Today we strolled off to town so i cd post somethin for u to read on ma blog.

Thought i would be goin to kampala tommorow but i cancelled that out. Wont be goin. So that means im around here for some more days to come n then i will hit the road n go to mbra (then get back next week).I'm a real traveller of late n figures dont lie. Wil give u stats for the last two months..stay put!!(that is if u interested anyway!)

Meanwhile slept late last nite. realy had alot of work cut out for me( i hear sayin 'as usual'!). Couldnt sleep be4 i got it done (read 1 AM).

Woke up this mornin rather late then went on to do some "heavy duty" work for ma boss. it was real hectic. Finished later on in the day like 4 PM. checked mail n found julia's. its really nice heaarin from her again....i made sure i told her.

Now im set to begin on ma huge ple of paper work on ma desk..its bulky n i only hope im through very soon.

Next week will be goin to kla for a friend's wedding. i got another soon after that...ooops!!! a party animal of sorts! it aint ma fault though. i just cnt avoid people\s parties coz soon...soon it could be ....let me save it!
