Yesterday marked the end of the Xceptional campus conference at KPC. It was worth it sitting in there and listening to what God had to say in times like these. Having skipped on Thursday, i surely didn't want to miss out on the Friday do..but hey..i almost did. I somehow delayed in office (as always) but somehow managed to get to the conference venue at around 7 Pm. That meant i was 1 hour+ beyond schedule but i took it all in my stride. It was Virtual memory when i got there (has any of you watched the show of the same name on TBN hosted by Jamie Alexander??). This was a clone, kinda, of the TBN thing. Females V. males? What a contest it was! Then it was time for Soul 5, Martin Sseku, Genuine Dancers to rock us with some funky vibes. And there's this particular group that did an acapella and i must say i was impressed. Wheew!! Enter the fashion show! Fabulous stuff and fabulous personalities on display. I really liked it. I think a guy's gotta revamp his wardrobe! To crown it all, Pr. Mark led us in moving worship and prayer session. A really great ending to an exceptional week!
Not all was rosy on Friday. Some events of the day surely must have left quite a number of people cursing. And in this case, i mean all those who have their calls routed on the UTL network. We had no coverage all day. My phone really looked like a toy. Today is no different.What a way to spoil my weekend. Er.....Warid where you at????!
The "big" news in town is UB 40. These guys landed in here n boy..i hear their 2 shows have been valued at 2 bn! This morning, i suggested to my work mate that we go for the platinum tickets (worth $170). Crazy idea, huh? The implications are u are guaranteed to be broke 24/7 for the whole month running. I don't wanna walk that walk!
