The weekend ended quietly and has now been replaced with a brand new week. Saturday was not fun..for me particularly because ma football crew lost to Man-Yoo. It was a thrashing by the way- 4-0. Before the game, I really thought we would pull it off but a mere glance at our starting 11 meant we were in for a beating..and what a beating it was! Thank God i got over i so quickly. In ALL things i have learned to give thanks. At one point i thought, "well, it seems God does not watch football!" But he does, i was reminded, and he `works out everything according to his plan and purpose.

MUK is now back to working ways now that the striking dons decided to cut it out. Thank God. Some time it used to be pretty nasty whenever such things would happen. Looks like we now living in an altogether changed Makerere. How i pray things keep like this.

On sunday, i got to church and what an explosive service! The word of the day was that we ought to rise to the occasion and be the salt and light of the world. Are you a believer? Hey baby, its time you and i quit our comfort zones and began to rock the world with God's love. Its not how much you do, but with what heart you do it! Let us go forth and change our world with the authority and power Christ has given us.

Mean while there is a meeting at KPC running through this week. It's called The Xceptional youth conference. You don't want to miss out on this if you stay in and around Kampala. Schedules: Mon-Frid 6-9 Pm. Speakers are Dr. Orombi (Archbishop of the Church of Uganda) and our very own Prs. Garry and Chris. Tell a hommie about this and catcha there.
