It's been a wierd wednesday...call it wierd wierd wednesday(WWW???)...for many reasons. I told you the other day this place was rife with rumor i was leaving. True. Iam. I aint exactly so excited about this whole thing though. This place been like home and its hard to let go. But i have to. Will be leaving very soon...in three days time. So you can be sure im seeing to it office is in order and all is fine in my department. Don't want to leave things in a mess yo!
And the wierd bit...........had to say bye to some people and it wasnt fun.Realy. Will have to endure bouts of nostalgia for some days to come but i trust i will get over it.I guess this happens to everybody, huh? Well, then im just being human!
This evening had one of those long walks with a friend. Came back a while ago. Now there is this particular "route" we took and i oh my God..i had lots to learn! Ok let me try to give a vivid description here. We negotiated our way through a murrum road, took a turn and another...and then another turn this time to a narrow path nieighboring patches of grass and shrubs in the vicinity. It wasnt the first time i was here. Along the way i was reminded of the narrow path in the Bible. It came as a suprise but it was making sense. This path is so narrow me and my friend could'nt "fit in" so we had to take turns...she went first and i had to follow. Being potentially dangerous in the sorrounding bushes n shrubs, we wouldnt dare venture into that "dead end". So we had to keep in file!
Think about all the "dead ends" we face everyday in our walk with Christ while we make our pilgrimage home...our real home..yet we have to keep moving on...along the "narrow path".
Meanwhile news just comin in..transport prices are back on high again. Somebody's got to pray about this.
